Police have charged Alexandria Vera, 24, with continuous sex abuse of the boy who was also her student, according to a report by usatoday.com.
Citing court documents, the report said Vera admitted to having sex with the boy and added that she and the victim “love each other”.
She reportedly told investigators that they had sex almost daily for nine months.
Vera is said to have added that the boy introduced her to his family as her girlfriend and that they accepted the relationship and invited her to family gatherings.
She reportedly added that the family was “very supportive and excited” when they were told that she was pregnant with the boy’s child in January.
The report said that Vera, who already has a four-year-old child, later aborted the pregnancy after she was questioned by US child protection services over her relationship with the boy.
